"We would like to recommend Essential Estates to anyone thinking of buying property in Spain. Before purchasing we spent months looking at various websites and in a number of cases contacted them for additional information. Out of all the responses received we felt most comfortable with Essential Estates primarily because they did not try to do a hard sell. After numerous emails and phone conversations we finally arranged a visit to Spain but made it quite clear that we didn't want a hard sell if we did not see anything suitable. We needn't have worried.
Tim Tolbert met us at the airport and took us to the property we were interested in. He was very attentive and supportive - even keeping an eye on our young son while we looked at the properties. In addition he showed us the surrounding area, restaurants, beaches etc. to make sure we were happy with not only the property but the location.
We were looked after for the entire weekend and through Tim's considerable knowledge of the market the whole purchase experience was extremely stress free. "How to avoid making it a nightmare, we wondered. You scroll through papers and internet pages. It is hard to know where to settle, what to buy and what lies behind the object descriptions, that have a tendancy to describe everything as luxurious. One new development that caught our attention led us to Essential Estates. This evolved into communication through e-mails. Other objects were presented and through mutual communication a base for needs and possibilities was created. The result was a trip to the "promised land" Spain. Over a period of five days we were guided through a selection of potential homes from Costa Del Sol through Costa Almeria to Costa Calida. We felt very well catered for and found the properties presented to us to be well adapted to our wish list and economic possibilities. It resulted in what we feel a very succesful compromise that is awaiting us for future winter months.
